What You Do Matters

It started with an idea. The realization that a resume is just smoke and mirrors and that references could so easily be rigged. That what matters most is what you do --- what you create, what you complete and what you ship.

At Did it, we celebrate the makers and doers. We're not interested in re-posting content to boost our profile. We have no time to Link to people without a genuine connection or purpose. We're too busy doing things, working, thinking, imagining and creating. Which is what we did here.

We wanted to create a place to track what we do, a place to give kudos to the people we collaborate with and a place to explore the body of work by other creators and doers.

We invite you to have a look around and if you are feeling inspired, share some of your body of work. In fact, it's not even important if what you did was a success or a failure, because real creators know that you learn far more from your failures than from your successes. It's just important to do something.

After all, you are what you do and what you do matters.

P.S. We would love your feedback. What you like, don’t like. What could we add to make Did It better? Let us know @getdidit
